Vitamins
Vitamins play a key role in the different functions of our body. Without the correct amount of vitamins, our body will show wear. The immune system, reproduction, self-maintenance, and healthy growth are all affected when we slack in vitamins.
Most vitamins are received through the consumption of food or a supplement. Most of our vitamins should be received through our food intake. However, vitamin supplements are relatively safe and can be used as an additional means of getting the daily amount of suggested vitamins.
Vitamins are divided into two groups: fat-soluble vitamins and water-soluble vitamins, and other nutrients and fats require vitamins in order to be processed correctly in our bodies. Without the proper amount of vitamins, our bodies cannot function, however, some vitamins can be toxic when taken in excess. Remember that it is wise to consult with your physician when choosing the best vitamin combination for your specific needs.
